Purpose of Position: Under general direction, this position serves as a point of contact to key HR stakeholders and Centers of Excellence to design, implement and troubleshoot Workday Integrations. This role will drive HR synergies across the business by promoting automation, data integrity, system efficiencies, and reporting outputs. The Workday Integration Analyst will implement new solutions, improve existing programs and provide technical support specifically in the areas of integrations. They will also participate in the testing of bi-annual system upgrades, patches, projects/implementations, and troubleshooting, testing and other duties as needed or assigned. 

Nature and Scope:  
This position reports to HRIS Manager

Major Job Functions and Tasks: 
 

  • The Workday Integration Analyst will support the design and development of local and global Workday Integrations for HCM and payroll, integration tests, deployment and documentation.
  • Partner with internal and external customers to elicit requirements, design, build, test, and deploy new integrations and integration changes. 
  • Analysis and fix of integration production issues.
  • Analysis and impact of global configuration and data changes in production.
  • The role will support the maintenance, the delivery and the optimization of Workday integrations based on the HR and business demands and initiative prioritizations owned by HR and in alignment with Global Data policies and guidelines.
  • Review tickets in Workday Case Management System.
  • Recommend and implement policies on reporting standards and offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity. 
  • Partner with HR Stakeholders to deliver in Workday HCM system related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, new functionalities and process redesign. 
  • Develop and presents HR Technology related communications and training. 
  • Manage various Workday modules supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance and expeditious resolution for high impact issues. 
  • Assists with design and process development to ensure country-specific compliance to local regulatory standards. 
  • Assist with end-user testing and quality assurance. 
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by proactively running and audits, and interfacing with key stakeholders to keep system cleansed.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:

  • 2 years professional experience with HCM integration development and/or maintenance, in a global internal setting or in a global consultancy
  • Workday integration development experience is a great plus
  • Knowledge of web services, REST, SOAP, WDSL, XML, XSLT or XPATH.
  • Knowledge of Workday data model
  • K nowledge and experience in Workday Integrations in one or more areas: Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, PICOF, BIRT
  • Programming experience with other platforms and/or languages – C++, Java, .Net, Python etc.
  • Detail and solution oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills and data/fact driven approach to problem solving
  • Influencing and communications skills including the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and dealing successfully with stakeholders on all levels.
  • 3-5 years of direct Workday experience (Expertise in at least 2-3 modules), including
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and data 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work effectively with business partners in other parts of the organization, including IT, Finance, etc. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally in a global environment.

Additional:  
•    Hours: 1:30pm -10:30pm IST, must work in the office
•    Travel may be required
