Sr. Manager, Subscription Value Propositions – WSJ & WSJ+

About the Role

As Senior Manager, Subscription Strategy – WSJ & WSJ+, you will focus on maximizing customer and product value across our portfolio. You will lead initiatives that strengthen our subscription value propositions, integrate new product and feature enhancements, and ensure strategies are built into our business-as-usual operations. By partnering closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Insights, you will help define and evolve the WSJ and WSJ+ customer experience to drive engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and integration of new product and feature enhancements into WSJ and WSJ+ subscription value propositions.

  • Partner with Performance Marketing, Product, and Customer Insights to align initiatives with customer needs and market opportunities.

  • Ensure go-to-market plans are incorporated into ongoing business strategies in collaboration with GTM and operations partners.

  • Support project-based initiatives across the broader Subscription Strategy team (e.g., full-funnel strategy development).

  • Serve as the first point of contact for vetting cross-functional proposals that impact customer and product value.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in subscription strategy, product marketing, or customer lifecycle management.

  • Deep understanding of digital product value propositions, customer engagement, and retention levers.

  • Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies that drive results.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience partnering across marketing, product, and insights teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.

Pay Range: 140,000.00 - 170,000.00
