Job Description

The Senior Financial Consultant, Claims Planning & Analysis, plays a critical role in driving financial clarity and strategic decision making across the organization. In this role, you will analyze complex financial and claims data, translate insights into compelling narratives, and deliver recommendations that enhance operational performance and support enterprise strategy. As a trusted business partner to leaders across markets and functions, you will provide meaningful analysis, develop intuitive dashboards, and present insights that strengthen planning, performance management, and long term direction. This position is ideal for a highly analytical, curious professional who excels at turning data into actionable, business ready insights within a dynamic insurance and claims environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact presentations for executive and cross‑functional audiences, delivering financial and claims‑related insights with clarity, confidence, and strategic focus
  • Build insight-driven storylines for financial updates to collaborate with business partners
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely dashboards that support improved decision‑making, operational performance, and strategic planning
  • Lead moderately complex analysis projects addressing ambiguous business issues including cost benefit analyses and scenario modelling
  • Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance, leadership and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and current trends, and assist in implementation of strategies
  • Partner closely with claims, finance and product business partners to interpret operational metrics and improve claims management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Requires 4+ years of related experience in financial analysis
  • Understanding of insurance operations
  • MS Office Suite with advanced Excel (e.g. Xlookup, IF statements, ISERROR formulas, etc)
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard design, and storytelling
  • Working knowledge of SAS and SQL
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial results and develop a narrative
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment and across multiple sites and business units
  • Interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 77,200.00 - 124,075.00 annually.  Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
