Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Expert Engineer to lead IT process automation initiatives, driving advancements in infrastructure automation, PC lifecycle management automation, and compliance solutions for SharePoint sites. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering robust, scalable automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
• IT Process Automation Leadership:
o Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to optimize IT infrastructure and operations.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and automate complex, manual processes across the organization.
• Infrastructure Automation:
o Develop and implement scalable automation frameworks for server, storage, and network operations.
o Leverage tools such as Ansible and ServiceNow to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
• PC Lifecycle Management Automation:
o Design and maintain automation solutions to streamline PC lifecycle processes, including provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.
o Ensure seamless automation integrations with existing IT systems e.g. Microsoft Intune.
• Compliance Automation for SharePoint Sites:
o Lead the design and deployment of automation solutions to monitor and enforce compliance requirements for SharePoint sites.
o Develop tools to ensure policy adherence, data governance, and security best practices for SharePoint environments.
• Technical Problem-Solving:
o Serve as the go-to technical expert for automation-related challenges and complex issue resolution.
o Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for automation failures.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
o Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
o Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, PowerShell, and ServiceNow.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications
• Programming Language/s Certification (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Experience with on-premises, cloud technologies and hybrid IT environments.
