Job Description:

• Lead and consolidate the Purchasing Budget and Forecasts (direct and indirect Purchasing) aligned with Corporate HQ and other functions in region (e g. Region Finance)

• Track and report purchasing KPIs, including:

• Purchasing Turnover

• Impact and Height

• Cost Reduction

• Payouts: Inflation, TierN FX, Raw Material, Energy, Semi-Conductor

• SCC (Supplier Compensation Claim)

• Promote Cost Reduction generation and support implementation including transversal meetings to guarantee all teams involvement and on time implementation.

• Manage Purchasing performance and support the preparation of purchasing performance reports.

• Guarantee alignment between R&D, Manufacturing, and Costing team on Cost reduction results

• Prepare reports to Executives, Global HQ in Japan and Regional HQ in Americas.

• Ensure adherence to Nissan procurement policies, approval workflows and internal controls.

• Support internal and external audits related to procurement processes, contracts, and savings governance.

• Participate in projects focused on cost optimization, process improvement and financial governance.

• Lead the transversal activities to enhance the strategic approach on cost reduction planning.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across internal teams.

• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

• Purchasing background or engineering area (would be considered a plus for the position)

• Cost reduction knowledge

Software Knowledge:

• MS Office (Excel + Power Point Mandatory)

• Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP (Would be considered a plus).

• Power-Bi

Experience:

• Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.

• Experience in Finance and Cost Control area.

Education:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

Languages:

• English – intermediate (Advanced English will be considered a plus)

• Spanish will be considered a plus

Workstation:
