Senior Account Lead, LINE Official Account (English & Japanese)

Position Mission:
To provide marketing solutions utilizing LINE Official Account (LINE OA) for global clients within the Japanese market.

The mission of this position goes beyond mere tool operation. You are expected to deeply understand the marketing strategies of the global clients, localize them into Japan's unique LINE ecosystem, and lead the entire process—from planning to execution and analysis—thereby contributing to the client's business growth in the Japanese market.

This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

As the primary of contact for global clients, you will lead the following operations end-to-end:

Strategic Planning & Proposal:

  • Identify client business challenges and global campaigns to plan and propose LINE OA strategies tailored to the Japanese market.
  • Design full-funnel planning, from friend acquisition initiatives and message delivery to CRM.

Account Design & Creative Direction:

  • Design Rich Menus, automated response messages, and segmented delivery workflows.
  • Localize global assets (images and videos) for the Japanese market and manage creative quality control.

Delivery Operations & Project Management:

  • Develop delivery schedules and oversee the execution of messaging operations.
  • Coordinate with and direct internal departments and external partners/vendors.

Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Analyze performance data (open rates, CTR, CVR, etc.) and create regular reports.
  • Execute the PDCA cycle based on data insights and propose improvements for future initiatives.

Global Communication:

  • Conduct negotiations in English with global clients and facilitate regular meetings.
  • Act as a bridge to logically explain Japan-specific LINE specifications and market characteristics in English, ensuring client understanding.


 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of practical experience in operating and consulting for LINE OA.

  • Deep proficiency in using the LINE Official Account Manager.

  • A proven track record of success in friend acquisition strategies, segmented messaging, and Rich Menu optimization.

  • Bilingual Proficiency (Native Level/Business Level in both Japanese and English)

  • Fundamental knowledge of Digital Marketing: Experience in KPI design, understanding of marketing funnels, and basics of web analytics.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Account Management at an advertising agency or enterprise company.

  • Team management or leadership experience.
