Enbridge Gas Ohio is looking for a New Construction Customer Support Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technical solutions within EGO and ensuring efficient coordination of technical and administrative resources. The Supervisor will ensure coordination with other internal and/or external partners while developing recommendations that provide the basis for making critical business decisions.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Responsible for the supervision and direction of the work of a team of employees to ensure the quality and timely performance of activities for small commercial and residential customers’ new construction/conversion needs.
  • Direct work assignments and provides project guidance for team members to facilitate timely communications and receipt of required paperwork throughout the process.
  • Manage department work schedules to ensure appropriate level of resources. Ensures company HR policies are followed.
  • Set team goals and expectations.
  • Support internal customers through data gathering, automating activities/entries, and providing analysis for work processes and improvement initiatives using multiple customer information and work management systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting related to new service customer requests, call/email volume, ASA goals, among other reporting.
  • Seek to improve the value of reporting and ensures that reporting supports the direction and strategy of the business including new construction requests, load increases among other construction project types.
  • Responsible for knowing and ensuring federal and state legal requirements are met with respect to billing, payment processing, and collections, including statutes of limitations.
  • Support Design Support Services, Gas Account Managers, Claims, Legal, Permit and Restoration, Construction, PUCO Customer Relations, and other internal partners, in the coordination and timely resolution of customer complaints.
  • Coordinate customer communications to ensure timely processing of new construction project payments and project completion.

Who you are:

You have:

  • A related Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of experience.
  • Subject areas Preferred: Business, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulated gas business including metering and commercial operations technology.
  • Full knowledge of budgetary and personnel management and administration.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of gas metering systems and gas measurement methodologies, policy and procedures and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems through analysis and understanding of working with customers for potential disputes.
  • Knowledge of concepts and applications of customer service, accounting and finance.
  • Working knowledge and general applications of regulations and rates.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop presentations and document results of meetings and group discussions.
  • Effective leadership skills which inspire high performance from others.
  • Working knowledge of labor relations.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
