We are looking for a BI Software Engineering Manager who will be tasked with the architectural design, implementation, and maintenance of our internal BI solutions and their integration with other data systems. This role ensures the scalability, reliability, and performance of BI systems to support enterprise-level business intelligence and data analytics. The Power BI Engineer works closely with data architects, data engineers, and business analysts to design and implement robust ETL processes, semantic models, and integration strategies. This position involves setting up and managing the entire BI environment, including gateways, security, UI/UX, and performance tuning. Additionally, the Power BI Engineer plays a crucial role in establishing best practices, maintaining data governance, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, engineering, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in data engineering or BI engineering roles
Experience with Microsoft technology stack including Power BI, Azure Databricks, and Fabric
Proven track record of collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders to design and develop enterprise-grade BI solution architecture that comply with performance and security best practices
Experience with leading a team of software engineers on a development project
Agile project management previous experience
Previous experience with managing budgets related to BI projects and providing cost-benefit analyses for BI solutions and reporting tools
