Job Description Summary

The GSI Project Management Leader - ACS & Services for India will be responsible for the entire project delivery organization in India under APAC, ensuring profitability and Customer Satisfaction. As the visible and active leader, your will promote a working environment to achieve excellence in EHS, quality and customer service, while engaging employees to operational goals and developing a culture supportive of the GEV Core Values and integrity. Position will be a solid line reporting to GSI APAC Business Line leader and shall also be working closely with GSI India T&D representative.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

•Manage AC projects portfolio for the country and meet financial and operational objectives (Sales, cash-in, billing and CM) vs. OP;

•Responsible for the EHS, gross margin, collections, productivity, on time delivery, resources utilization and NPS performance metrics of the India projects portfolio;

•Monitors and controls on time and on quality delivery of country PL’s;

•Portfolio and Risks management through backlog analysis;

•Ensure Quarter and Year landings predictability;

•OP (budget) preparation ownership in liaison with Finance & Projects managers with associated Risks / Opps

•Engage and validate Operational aspects of AC projects in particular:

-Workload, resource, schedule

-Risks / Opps levels and associated provisions

•Ensure end-to-end projects life cycle from kick-off to closure including billing, cash collection, management of bonds, site commissioning and after sales;

•Own and animate the Push Sales and Cash-In process to determine stretches to project and ensure adherence to OP for Sales, Cash-in and Billing figures, in liaison with Product Line FP&A;

•Own the region projects operation rhythms, perform risk reviews, lead project reviews, cost out initiatives and resource planning;

•Control the execution of action plans issued from project reviews with focus on anticipation of events, risks identification and management, cash position;

•Assist the Project Managers in negotiations with Partners, Contractors and Customers;

•Synthetize and consolidate the status of all AC projects in country to provide an accurate Operational and Financial views;

•Determine the Sales/Cash/CM objectives and/or stretches to be taken by each of the projects so to ensure PL financial objectives;

•Engage on specific projects on short-term “Crash Programs” to assist project teams when in specific crisis;

•Ensure all processes are defined / applied in country;

•Work closely with Operational Excellence to reflect the specificity of India in GS processes and support Operational Excellence leader to ensure adherence of the proposals in the projects;

•Drive Execution excellence, ensuring that tools proposed by Operational Excellence are applicable and tuned through India;

•Responsible for Operational methods for improving repeatability of success on projects (installation, commissioning);

•Engage actively at the ITO stage to strategize on the selection of supply locations within the PL responsibility and also in the discussions around the other PLs in the supply chain;

•Run ITO costing review before release;

•External representation with customer, executive sponsorship on specific project;

•Ensure effective communication across the sites, engaging with employees to ensure understanding and alignment to operational goals.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;

•Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred

•More than 15 years of leadership experience in project execution or P&L management or project management role or in similar positions with significant exposure and responsibility;

•Proven track record in developing business and relations/ partnership with customers;

•Ability to work effectively across functions, prior experience of developing and managing a global/regional team;

•Results-orientation;

•Strong profile on Negotiation & Conflict management;

•Business & Market understanding;

•Relevant experience of leading major construction, commissioning and operations projects;

•Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of influencing and driving a strategic change agenda across the organization;
