This role is office-based in Mexico. The role requires professional fluency in English (spoken and written).

The Sr. Network Engineer focuses on the area of Inmar's internal and external networks, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. The incumbent will provide leadership in the design and implementation of complex infrastructure in support of customer needs, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communication systems. The Sr. Engineer often assists other Engineers on the team and is seen as a subject-matter expert (SME) in specific technologies.

Primary Accountabilities: 

  • Provide technical services and support for WAN/LAN connectivity, including routers, switches and firewalls. 

  • Oversee the workflow involved in maintaining a company’s enterprise network. 

  • Design and implement all network infrastructure. 

  • Evaluate, recommend and implement tools and practices to achieve maximum network efficiency. 

  •  Resolve the more advanced/complex network issues. 

  • Oversee work performed by more junior members of the team. Participate in security audits and champion the resolution and/or mitigation of any issues found with regards to network vulnerabilities. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Performs other duties as assigned 

  • Complies with all policies and standards 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or Information Systems required 

  • 10+ years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software, hardware & technology applications required 

  • Technical proficiency in a wide variety of networking technologies, including hands-on management of Cisco hardware; virtualization technologies such as VMware; remote access solution support; remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications. 

  • General knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM. 

  • General knowledge of firewalls, specific knowledge of Palo Alto. 

  • Networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCDA, and Cisco Certifications are a plus. 

  • Proficient in Visio or equivalent diagramming tool. 

  • Proficient with G-Suite. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Ability to plan, document and manage a project to completion
