We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our EXD Worktools (Waco)for Transportation Analyst.
The primary responsibilities of the Transportation Analyst include (but are not limited to):
• Manage the site transportation operations (Inbound/outbound) needs, identify and lead transportation network projects and improvement initiatives, conduct freight cost analyses and transportation budgeting, define, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and client-site account management
• Manage transportation operations (Inbound/Outbound including but not limited to: Carrier coverage, operations, and performance, Standards development and adherence (Guidelines, Practices, Specifications), Integration with Ground Transportation Operations Control (GTOC) and GMM operations, Support for expedited shipments, Conduit to other Transportation enterprise services
• Provide project reporting and status
• Conduct ongoing lane/network evaluations
• Conduct cost analysis for freight and variance reporting
• Include freight for network and local moves for all lanes and modes
• Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Publish KPI results and root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
What You Have (Core Skills)
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
• First-hand experience and knowledge of Caterpillar transportation networks
• 4+ years of transportation industry or manufacturing supply chain experience, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of transportation industry or manufacturing supply chain experience
• Project management experience
• Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
• 6 Sigma/Lean/CPS experience
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following software applications: JDA TM, JDA FOM, TW Slot, GT Nexus, CASS, TIS, CMOPS, Rate Management (RM), SAP/MACH 1, Glovia, MAM
• Previous experience with GTOC or knowledge of transportation best practices and procedures
Additional Information:
This position requires 5 days in office in Waco, TX
This position will provided domestic relocation

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
