Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate / Software Engineer. This position will be located in VSFB, California and will support ICBM Sustainment.
Job responsibilities will involve updating trainer software based on customer requirements. Software update packages are about 3 times per year. Collaboration with other software and test team members will happen daily. Ensuring the team maintains software configuration management practices will also be required. This job will primarily take place in office on an air force base.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications:
• Associate Software Engineer: 0 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
• Software Engineer: 2 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 0 Years with Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
• Must be a US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Top Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
• Experience coding projects in C, C++, or C#.
• Good team communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Minuteman III Trainer Software.
• Experience with Software configuration management principals
• Experience with FORTRAN and ADA environments
• Active TS clearance.
