Accenture Nordic Meetings & Events Team is looking for a new team member to plan and execute simple and complex meetings or event experiences in an agile, innovative and truly human way, reflecting a customer- centric and operationally effective approach. The role includes delivering exceptional customer service through an environment of hospitality, including event logistics, cost estimates, budget reconciliation, venue sourcing, planning services and event execution.
 

Nordic Meetings & Events planners provide services for all Accenture people in the Nordic countries. Main focus of this role is Denmark, but the person will also support and work closely together with colleagues in the Nordic. The function lead is based in Finland. In the position, there are good opportunities to network with colleagues around the world.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Advises on Accenture’s meeting policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and process event approvals.
• Use Accenture’s internal tools (including new Meetings & Events tool) to manage events.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Compiles cost estimates to determine the most cost-effective location to host the meeting.
• Sources meeting venue options, according to Accenture’s supplier sourcing strategy and identifies and screens potential new suppliers.
• Consults on attendee communications and registration.
• Plans and executes meetings and events, typically including onsite logistics, food and beverage, activities, functions and entertainment.
• Provide production and audio-visual support.
• Pays and reconciles meeting expenses.

• Minimum 2 years of current relative Meeting and Event Management experience required.
• Formal Project Management designation and training is an asset.
• Cvent events management software skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under stressful situations.
• Strong multi-tasker who works well under pressure.
• Strong communications skills verbal, written and presentation skills in English and Danish
• Strong Financial acumen
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite
