Quality Systems Specialist (Quality Systems Specialist-General)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support F/A-18 Landing Gear among multiple other efforts at Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role will require both Quality Assurance and shipping and receiving support. The individual will works closely with the F/A-18 Landing Gear Global Technical Operations leadership to support the planning, execution and delivery of quality products and services.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.
• Performs inspections on aircraft assets for both modification and maintenance activities on multiple contracts.
• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
• Performs internal audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements
• Documents audit results in standard formats
• Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ year of experience in a Quality Systems Specialist role
• Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality deliver
• Experience with Navy Logs and Records
• Ability to collect and analyze data for metrics of site production

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• AS9100 Revision D experience
• DCMA INST 8210.1C experience
• Potential for security clearance
• Prefer knowledge of QA_MRB

Summary Pay Range: $67,150 - $90,850/Annaully
