Your role and responsibilities
An Operations Manager’s role becomes highly critical because they must coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage crises, and ensure smooth service delivery under pressure. They balance resources, customer expectations, and operational risks while maintaining process discipline With high visibility and accountability, even small failures can create major business impact—making the role central to organizational stability and success.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Core IS Integration and Orchestration Function in ABB Global. Main stakeholders are:
Business Area IS Manager
Division IS Manager
Country IS Manager
Business IS Operation Managers
Solution/lead/Enterprise Architect
Application Managers
Integration Owners
IT Domain Owner
IT Domain Service Owner
Third party users
You will be mainly accountable for:
Fulfilling the service requests in the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and collaborating with IS Service Owner to define the domain service catalog.
Reviewing SLAs and corresponding service monitoring and controlling metrics to identify rightsizing opportunities.
Dedicating resources to monitor problem volumes, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) quality, solution timelines, and following up on potential improvement opportunities.
Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution by finding the root cause of incidents (through known errors and root cause analysis), defining workarounds, and following up on fixing root causes (by planning problem resolution and change implementation).
Ensure stable, secure, high‑performance MuleSoft platform operations while managing deployments, incidents, and API governance.
Drive cross‑team collaboration, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement to maintain seamless integration delivery.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor or Master's degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
Fluent spoken and written English
Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global teams
Experience of IS business performance and requirements management
ITIL 4 foundation certification is a must
Other ITIL professional certifications, Six Sigma, AGILE desired
Experience on Mulesoft will be a plus
