Warehouse Operator — Summary Job Description

• Role: Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products efficiently while ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and a safe warehouse environment.
• Key responsibilities: Unload and inspect incoming shipments; pick and pack orders to specifications; operate forklifts and material-handling equipment; perform cycle counts and update inventory systems; stage and load outbound shipments; maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas; follow safety protocols and shipping/receiving procedures.

Minimum Requirements for Position: (Education, skills, experience, etc.)

• Required skills/traits: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, ability to operate warehouse equipment, basic computer/data-entry skills, and teamwork.
• Typical qualifications: diploma or equivalent; experience in warehousing or logistics preferred; forklift certification is often required; ability to lift to company-specified weights.
