Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support projects and clients effectively. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes, ensuring that the software development aligns with project goals and client expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and support for MATLAB/Simulink CI/CD infrastructure — including system design, pipeline configuration, and automation of test, build, and release workflows.
- Develop and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines to automate MATLAB and Simulink model validation, code generation, testing, and coverage reporting across multiple projects.
- Collaborate closely with model-based design engineers, system engineers, and software developers to integrate MATLAB/Simulink toolchains into enterprise DevOps environments (GitHub Actions).
- Manage licensing and environment setup for MATLAB, Simulink, and related toolboxes in both local and containerized build environments.
- Continuously improve CI/CD workflows by implementing process automation, artifact management, and efficient test execution for large-scale model-based systems

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Test, and Embedded Coder ability to automate workflows involving simulation, code generation, and testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, preferably for MATLAB/Simulink-based projects.)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or MATLAB scripts, with experience in integrating testing and reporting frameworks (e.g., Polyspace).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and managing custom MATLAB runtime environments.
- Working knowledge of source control (Git, GitHub) and artifact versioning for model-based workflows.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills — able to work closely with cross-functional engineering and validation teams.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, build automation, or MATLAB/Simulink workflow development.
- Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
