Position Summary
The Hermann Center for Child and Family Development, located within the Division of Child Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, is searching for an Administrative Coordinator to support The SYNCHRONY Project. This position performs office functions, programs and provides administrative support, and performs specialized/technical duties with minimum supervision.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to leaders and clinicians.
- Administers/prepares reports, correspondence, and administrative materials required for the direction of the center.
- Maintains established departmental policies, procedures and objectives including regulatory records for license, reports, and notifications as necessary.
- Performs basic data entry and handles sensitive patient information and legal documents.
- Prepares invoicing and compiles budget information for Children’s Services Fund.
- Working knowledge of or willingness to learn necessary computer software programs and databases relevant to the assigned tasks.
- Plans logistics and provides administrative support for program courses, meetings and events including all details associated with event; negotiates with vendors; oversees, troubleshoots and resolves special situations that arise during event. Manages event budget.
- Coordinates, manages and updates communications for school/department/center including verbal, written and electronic communications and websites which may include initiating/reviewing drafts of various communications.
- Provides some general administrative support including scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$19.29 - $29.91 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
