Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive with a strong background in the Energy / Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have over 15+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 10+ years working on various Oil & Gas projects and possess a background in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of IT/OT systems involved in the production of oil and its derivatives, as well as operations in the upstream sector.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Lead and manage Oil & Gas projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
b) Oversee the implementation and optimization of IT/OT systems in production and operations.
c) Apply advanced technologies such as Manufacturing Operations Management, Cloud, Data & AI / GenAI to solve industry challenges.
d) Drive initiatives to improve gross refinery margin, throughput, safety, and sustainability.
e) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans.
f) Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
g) Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
a) Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute.
b) Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on project management and IT/OT systems.
c) Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
d) Cognite Data Fusion(CDF) knowledge & exposure is preferred(not mandatory).
e) Strong understanding of upstream(mandatory), midstream, and downstream operations.
f) Expertise in Manufacturing Operations Management, Cloud, Data & AI / GenAI technologies.
g) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
h) Strong leadership and communication abilities.
i) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and client facing role.
Additional Information:
a) Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the Oil & Gas industry.
b) Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
c) The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Oil and Gas Upstream.
d) This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
e) A 15 years full time education is required.
