About the Role  

The Senior Data Analyst will be a crucial part of the team, working alongside Strategy, Creative, Category, Intelligence, and Community team. We’re looking for a data analyst/scientist who loves connecting social data with business results, to help steer the direction for our clients, loves numbers and uses them to tell data-driven narratives and provide actionable recommendations. You will have limitless talents to produce unique & insightful social intelligence outputs for multiple brands including social listening for brand tracking and crisis monitoring and audience insights/segmentation for strategy development.

What You’ll Do 

  • Holistic Social & Influence data-driven intelligence capable of curating intelligence into social innovation to drive brand and business results from great end-to-end social & influence.
  • Analytical expert who is technically adept and uses tech and social science to identify trends and manage complex data on the account.
  • Responsible in providing data-driven recommendation and insights that would help guide strategy team set direction.
  • Provide overall guidance on Global direction for the brand: all dashboard setup, reporting, taxonomy, and tagging governance are all done correctly.
  • Interpret business challenges to develop the appropriate measurement plans, goals and KPI’s, and create custom analyses to improve campaign performance.
  • Manage cross-channel analysis, working with strategy, media, and creative teams to tie data and insights back to business objectives.
  • Lead the use of data as a story, translating complex analytical work into easy-to-understand insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with broader organizational teams to connect social media performance and behavioral data with other analytics.
  • Leverage social intelligence and performance-based data to think outside the box on how to drive strategy and business results.
  • Develop testing strategies, segmentation analyses, and recommendations for analytics capabilities for client work.
  • Be the key player in new briefs representing the agency and the social expertise.
  • Build strong relationship with strategy leaders and creative community.
  • Basic understanding of advanced analytics techniques such as linear models, time series analysis/forecasting, classification.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning techniques such as text-based analysis (NLP), supervised and unsupervised models such as KNN, K-means, random forests, GPT, and similar.
  • Stay abreast of global cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develop timely content strategy for real-time content

What You’ll Need  

  • 3-5+ years of data & analytics experience, extracting insights from large, technical data sets, and communicating recommendations to varied audiences including high-level management.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and analysis such as probability distributions, regressions, correlation, causation, variance, etc.
  • Experience in working with media attribution models and conversion measurement.
  • Expertise with cross-channel marketing analytics and paid media distribution methods.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while maintaining composure.
  • Experience with social intelligence tools including but not limited to Netbase, Sprinklr, Unmetric and Synthesio (or similar).
  • Considered the subject matter expert for dashboarding within their team/organization – visual storytelling is second nature.
  • Experience working in the agency/start-up/social space, working in statistical and data analysis is a big plus.
  • Active user of social platforms preferably with a finger on pulse of the latest trends/happenings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and management skills with a proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be persuasive and very articulate when it comes to directing or presenting, inspiring confidence and trust in colleagues and clients alike.
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly amongst an integrated agency team.
