The Role

euNetworks is recruiting a Marketing Communications Manager to drive and execute our communications strategy, generating key content for use both externally and internally. We’re seeking a person with sector experience, either in a similar infrastructure company today, or currently working in a data centre operator. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual looking to grow with us and potentially advance to a Director-level role in the future

You will be creating and coordinating the delivery of clear and consistent communications to a wide audience including customers, partners, our people, the communities in which we operate, press and analysts. This is an important role for our brand and euNetworks culture as we move into the next phase of growth for the business. It’s also important in supporting our Sales organisation as they engage with our customers. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual who is technically minded, and understands our product set and business. You should be curious and thrive on delivering clear and consistent communications.

What you will be doing

You’ll be working closely with the CMO, marketing peers and other leaders in the business across functions. Strong team work, leadership, strategic and forward thinking communications expertise is essential for success as is experience in our sector.

Develop and Implement Communication Strategy

  • Ensure all external and internal communications deliver a clear, consistent message that strengthens the company’s brand, uniqueness and reputation.
  • Manage spokesperson strategy and timely messaging updates, equipping us for success in consistency and relevance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Design and deliver communication plans for customers to enhance engagement and satisfaction, likely aligned with for example product and solution launches and updates, network investments, operational and service information, digital transformation updates, sustainability development and technology innovations.
  • Manage an agile process to review and approvals.
  • Liaise with partners, media and analysts to keep them aligned with business developments and industry insights and to develop those relationships.

Internal Communications

  • Champion our company culture.
  • Own, manage and drive internal communications that keep employees informed and engaged with the company’s strategy, focus, key initiatives and achievements.
  • Efficiently collaborate across functions to align messaging and encourage engagement
  • Deliver this while maintaining a team approach to communications and engagement, avoiding an overly corporate approach.
  • Work closely with our HR team and across euNetworks’ offices.

Brand and Culture

  • Working closely with the CMO and Marketing Manager to ensure our brand and associated message house evolve and remain consistent across all channels of communication.
  • Own and drive our messaging.
  • Remain closely aligned with company strategy, values and culture.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Integrate across teams in the organisation to support and drive timely communications, and your delivery in key projects.
  • Work within the Marketing team, ensuring cohesiveness across projects and campaigns, and an integrated approach to all communications.
  • Work with the sales leaders to ensure the right information and assets are available to sales on specific projects and overall on euNetworks all the time.

Digital Communications

  • Manage and oversee content for euNetworks’ websites, social and other digital platforms to ensure these channels effectively communicate key messages and are orchestrated in delivery.
  • Align with the Marketing team, marketing campaigns, projects etc to deliver key content assets.

What do we want from you

  • Excellent written and verbal communication- you’ll be creating content for a wide audience and will therefore need to excel in clear, precise, persuasive, and impactful communication.
  • Experience in this sector is essential – as the communications expert you’ll often be distilling down technical information into more understood content for teams to use with external stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of our market, segments, products and the wider infrastructure eco-system and a curiosity to continually learn and think innovatively, – both for technology and how we communicate.
  • You have experience managing sensitive communications, ensuring the protection of euNetworks’ brand.
  • A degree in marketing or equivalent certifications and/or 7+ years of work experience
  • You view business goals from a broad perspective and can interpret these into a clear content strategy.
  • A proven track record across the key parts of this role
  • You’re analytical and results focused
  • Thrive in a fast paced, high energy, growth environment, and you’re happy to manage and deliver multiple projects at any given time.
  • With strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others at all levels to get things done.
  • Highly organised and dynamic in your working approach.
  • Exceptionally customer focused.
  • A team player, willing and ready to get involved.
