Job Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Ticket Seller at Coca-Cola Music Hall San Juan P.R. The Ticket Seller under direct supervision, processes single ticket sales, exchanges, and tax credits at the facility's box office. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties

  • Dealing courteously with the public face to face.
  • Accurate accounting for ticket stock and ticket revenue.
  • Maintain a cash drawer if selling tickets.
  • Provide information to the public regarding tickets and facility.
  • Assist customers with ticketing issues and complaint resolution.
  • Maintain a professional and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public.
  • Maintain an organized work area in a professional, neat and clean manner.
  • Assist Box office manager and staff with any additional duties.
  • Adhere to Box Office policy and procedures.
  • Assist customers with Will Call tickets for events.
  • Accept payment and make change before giving tickets to customer.
  • Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets and schedules of upcoming events in person or on the telephone.
  • Ability to deal tactfully, helpfully and professionally with the public to provide event information and accurately complete ticket transactions.
  • Balances cash and receipt drawer with manager at the end of each shift.
  • All other duties/responsibilities as assigned. We love TEAM PLAYERS!

Working Conditions

  • The working hours are scheduled based on the needs the facility. PART-TIME ON-CALL scheduling.
  • There is no guarantee of hours on a weekly basis.
  • Working hours will primarily be on weekends, but flexibility is desired as we sometimes have Friday events as well.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work as scheduled.
  • Maintain a client service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays and can work flexible schedules.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school or equivalent; HS diploma preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proven cashiering experience.
  • Proven computer experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and solve problems quickly.
  • Skilled in communicating with the public and fellow team members.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
