In this position, you will be working in the Intel PDG located in Shanghai. You will participate IA (Intel architecture) server BIOS enabling and development. You will have the opportunity to learn the top IA server technology. This position also has chance to participate Intel silicon enabling BIOS development, like reference code and CRB BIOS. Responsibilities included but not limit to:
Intel Server BIOS development, document maintenance, validation support, etc.
Work with experienced, senior BIOS engineer/architects on the Intel server product BIOS development, also involve with China Local customer's feature design and issue fix.
Work on the Intel server silicon enabling BIOS development and contribute to reference code and CRB BIOS.
Qualifications:
You must possess Master degree of Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or other relevant majors at minimum. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with C language, Intel x86 knowledge, baseboard BIOS, software development and tools. Demonstrating improvements in development processes due to technical issues is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Solid understanding of IA-32 platform architecture
- Strong C and assembly programming skills with experience with modular software design
- Technical experience with software design, development, test and documentation.
- Experience in baseboard BIOS, UEFI, TIANO, EDK/EDKII is preferred
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required, as is a highly disciplined approach to problem solving
