Job Description

You will report to the Master Production Scheduler Manager of North America and have a hybrid schedule working in East Setauket, New York

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate stock transport orders to align weekly outputs with S&OP.
  • Collaborate with Demand Managers to improve product mix and monthly supply plans
  • Manage short and long-term production capacities with Production & Inventory Control Managers.
  • Balance manufacturing orders in collaboration with Production Control Analysts.
  • Support material planning for new product launches and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Identify and maintain global safety stock levels.
  • Support market programs and understand market limitations with global teams.
  • Analyze the financial impact of master scheduling on plant operations.
  • Monitor and report schedule accuracy and effectiveness while achieving service and inventory targets.
  • Improve supply chain processes to enhance customer loyalty and reduce costs.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 25% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing scheduling, analyzing data relating to product forecasting, master scheduling, asset management, or shipment forecasting.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, independent problem resolution throughout the company and levels, and the ability to manage the requirement of others not directly supervised.
  • Proficient software and PC skills, with a high level of proficiency
  • Plan and perform assigned tasks promptly.
  • Global business proficiency and understanding.
  • Work well with the global team members and is a team player.
  • APICS – CPIM certification.
  • SAP Experience
  • Team leader/contributor, comfortable in leading multicultural teams.
  • Driven and enthusiastic about opportunities to establish and implement new approaches.
  • Have well-rounded knowledge in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing and logistics.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficient in dealing with language and cultural barriers.
  • Capture and transform an idea/concept into business opportunity and deliver positive results.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $79,600 - $119,400 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
