This role will focus on design details, assist in configuration, testing of BLUE YONDER products, and support go-live and client activities across Japan.

Based in Japan, this person will support functional implementation such as designing, configuration, and testing under supervision of senior business consultants.

­ What you’ll do:

• Be able to understand customer business operation and requirements
• Provides advice to customers regarding industry’s best practices and process methodology 
• Provides non-technical support during the 'go-live' period 
• Provides user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity 
• Bridges communication between customers and senior business consultants outside Japan
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user and management level audiences 
• Supports business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications 
• Manage actions and issues in spreadsheet and facilitate all other members to closure
• Develops and executes test scripts to ensure BLUE YONDER software consistently meets the customer's business objectives 
• Understand functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design, prepared by senior members
• Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team and BLUE YONDER Cloud teams
• Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects. 
• Understands how the BLUE YONDER solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes, ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver 

What we are looking for:

• Understanding of Planning Solution, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management domains.
• Conceptual knowledge on functionalities in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Factory Planning, Warehouse Management or Transport Management experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience of working in Supply Chain business is strongly preferred
• Implementation-project knowledge and experience are preferred 
• Good communication, client relationship and analytical skills 
• Reading/writing SQL working with database tools like TOAD is a plus
• Verbal, written and interpersonal skills required in Japanese and English
