Job Title: Principal Software Engineer
Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore
Business & Team: CTO

Impact & Contribution: Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that align with the organisation's strategic goals. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are maintained. Drive innovation by exploring new ServiceNow capabilities and integrating them into existing processes.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:
  Lead the overall architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
• Platform Strategy:
  Define and drive the ServiceNow roadmap, including platform upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Solution Design:
  Translate business requirements into technical solutions using best practices in ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Governance & Standards:
  Establish and enforce architectural standards, development guidelines, and governance processes for ServiceNow implementations.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand needs and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Mentorship:
  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers, administrators, and other architects.
• Innovation:
  Stay current with ServiceNow releases and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and new capabilities.

Essential skills:

• 16+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a ServiceNow architecture role.
• Proven experience with multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and IRM.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and integration capabilities (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong Data Architecture experience, including integration and archival strategies.

Education Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
