Electrical Field Project Manager

We are seeking an Electrical Licensed Field Project Manager to join our team of technicians. This role requires applicable Electrical Licensing (EL01 or EL06)as you will be responsible for monitoring and performing quality control checks for electrical applications in the automatic door service applications and ensuring technicians are meeting the applicable electrical certification requirements. You will work with our service technicians to ensure that all electrical work is completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.  This role also assist branch management and team with field project management to insure job site readiness and efficient resource are deployed appropriately.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct quality control checks on electrical systems and components in automatic door applications

  • Work with the service technicians to ensure that all electrical work meets industry standards and compliance regulations
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and recommend solutions to optimize system performance
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or safety concerns, and take appropriate action to address them
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including materials used, work hours, and any issues encountered
  • Certify and manage the technicians electrical certification requirements per the state of Washington
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
  • Support Service teams with electrical work
  • Attend coordination meetings & trainings as required by customer
  • Meet with customers to clarify specific job site requirements
  • Assist in the technical feasibility of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Job Site Readiness Checks to ensure project following schedule
  • Work with IC to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Work with Warehouse Coordinator to ensure efficient operations of the warehouse and inventory levels
  • Ensure that change-orders and add-ons are documented and are relayed to the Territory Managers or National Accounts Team as per set procedures, so that additional charges can be applied as required
  • Ensure that all required documentation, drawings and sign-offs are received so that the project can be properly closed-off
  • Assist Management team with forecasting by communicating accurate schedules for upcoming months/quarter
  • Coordinate with IC to document changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
  • It's important to note that specific responsibilities may vary depending on the nature of the field projects and the organization. However, the above points provide a general overview of the key responsibilities typically associated with this role.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Must hold the EL01 or EL06 Washington License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical quality control or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Travel as need to the respective job sites

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.  

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000/annuallyThe actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
