Summary: The senior JCOP SW development Engineer is responsible for first establishing the coding requirements at the block, sub-system or system level. SW is then crafted to NXP standards including code review process as deployed by team management. Development of code and associated features is to be tracked with traceability matrix. Support for code integration, test and system validation acceptance testing is required at every phase of development.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work as an individual contributor and participate in the development, debugging and maintenance of NXP's flagship embedded software smart card products.

  • Understand technical specifications in the smart card domain and develop, debug code for the same.

  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality deliverables.

  • Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel for meeting the business commitments.

  • Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view and a good team player.

Job qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in software development preferably in Embedded domain.

  • Mandatory Skill Set:

    • Standards

      • ISO7816-3/4, ETSI TS 102 622/613.

      • I2C, SPI

    • Programming Language: C

    • Fundamentals of Operating Systems.

  • Desired Skill set

    • Global Platform Specifications design and implementation

    • Experience in working with any RTOS.

    • Knowledge on MIPI-I3C, MIPI-SPMI.

    • Experience in working with ARM microcontroller profile. (Cortex-M).

    • Understanding on NOR Flash drivers.
