A Day in the Life

The User Experience Analyst design intuitive, efficient and user centric experiences for digital products across LATAM, including B2B/B2C portals, e procurement flows, self service tools, Salesforce interfaces and AI enabled solutions. This role combines field research, UX strategy, interaction design and close collaboration with Product, Digital, CX and business teams to ensure that digital solutions truly reflect customer and user needs across the region. The role will be working in a Flex Work model either in Bogotá, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina or Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Conduct user research (interviews, shadowing, surveys, usability tests) with internal and external users (sales, customer service, distributors, hospitals, clinics, etc.)
  • Map user journeys, personas, pain points and context of use across LATAM markets
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, CX and Digital teams to understand business goals and constraints
  • Design end‑to‑end flows, wireframes, interaction models and prototypes for digital products (portals, dashboards, forms, workflows, self‑service, AI interactions)
  • Ensure experiences are simple, intuitive, accessible and consistent with Medtronic design standards
  • Create and maintain design documentation (journey maps, IA, flows, components, guidelines).
  • Work side‑by‑side with Product, Engineering, CX and Data teams in Agile squads, supporting discovery and delivery
  • Validate designs through usability testing, A/B testing, pilots and field feedback, iterating as needed
  • Support UX reviews and design critiques, bringing a user‑centric perspective to discussions.
  • Design Systems & Standards
  • Contribute to design systems and UI component libraries, ensuring consistency across products and countries
  • Advocate for UX and accessibility best practices, especially considering healthcare context and diverse LATAM user base
  • Design user experiences for AI‑enabled features (chatbots, GenAI assistants, smart recommendations, automated flows) ensuring clarity, trust and transparency
  • Work on UX for digital channels such as B2B/B2C portals, e‑commerce journeys, quotation flows and e‑procurement interfaces

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English level
  • Three years as User Experience Designer / Product Designer for complex digital products
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma or equivalent)
  • Ability to create flows, wireframes, and low- and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Basic understanding of AI / chatbots / digital assistants from a UX perspective (how to design clear and reliable interactions)
  • Portfolio demonstrating B2B and/or internal systems (portals, CRMs, dashboards, tools)
  • Strong skills in user research, interaction design, prototyping and usability testing
  • Experience working in Agile squads with Product Managers, POs and developers
  • Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD ou similares).
  • Experience designing for multi‑country or multicultural contexts and Spanish is advantageous
