Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to identify and research component failures to improve product quality and reliability.
- Work with senior staff to define failure analysis strategies based on Mid-Low level investigation trends.
- Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product quality and reliability.
- Enter each complaint part/device and investigation results onto a failure analysis database
- May provide assistance to junior staff with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.
- May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.
- Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Using knowledge of product able to provide reliable output on mid to low level investigations as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associates Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or related technical field Preferred.
- 0 - 4 years' related technical experience preferred
- Ability to perform component level troubleshooting with general supervision desirable.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings is a plus.
- Good understanding of mechanics.
- Visa to travel to US is required.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish). (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in structured problem solving.
- Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
