Description -
The Consumer AI ISV Business Development Manager will focus on the development and execution of a partnership strategy with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in the AI domain, specifically those in the consumer sector. The focus of partnerships is primarily focused on driving differentiated experiences for HP AI PCs (e.g., unique / exclusive experiences delivered on HP AI PCs). This role involves generating a strong pipeline of partners, fostering relationships, defining HP unique / exclusive experiences (including through technical differentiation) as well as establishing commercial terms to monetize the partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer experience orientation, technical expertise, partner negotiation, business development and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Building & Maintaining AI ISV Differentiation Roadmap: Develop and implement an effective Consumer AI ISV partner strategy that aligns with the company's broader business goals. Identify potential ISVs that can significantly enhance our consumer AI offerings and create new monetization opportunities for HP.
Building Pipeline of AI Partners: Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential ISV partners in the consumer sector. Establish a strong pipeline of partners that align with our consumer AI strategy.
Negotiating Deals: Lead complex negotiations with ISV partners to secure favorable terms for HP. This includes negotiating exclusivity agreements, revenue sharing models, technical integration requirements, and other key partnership terms. Develop and execute negotiation strategies that maximize value for HP while maintaining positive partner relationships.
Managing Partner Relationships: Maintain and nurture relationships with ISV partners. Act as the primary liaison for partner-related matters and ensure that partners are satisfied with our collaboration. Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to grow the value of the partnership through joint initiatives, co-marketing, product integrations, etc.
Portfolio Management: Oversee the overall portfolio of Consumer AI ISV partnerships. Ensure each partnership delivers value and aligns with our strategic objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams (such as product development, sales, and marketing) to ensure partnerships are effectively utilized across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Proven experience in business development, partnership management, management consulting or a similar role, preferably in the AI or technology sector.
Strong understanding of AI technology, the ISV landscape, and the consumer sector.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

The base pay range for this role is $143,850 to $208,582.50 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
