Job Description Summary

Leads our progress towards GEV Target Condition of “Right first-time, no backwards flow”. Sets priorities and drives the execution of Quality and Lean continuous improvement roadmap across Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) Value Streams for Gas Power Services business-line globally, focused on building process capability and driving process time improvements. Develops the plan and leads the implementation of Zero Defect Framework and Services Built-In-Quality concepts into ITR processes, partnering with process owners within TX & MYA Business Lines, One Field Services and Upgrades functions to ensure projects are prioritized, resourced, and sustained.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Eliminate process variability, reduce re-work related non-value added (NVA) hours and improve process time by ensuring that every step of the ITR process is capable of producing 100% yield.
  • Standardize the use of core Quality & Lean tools in transactional and field environments, including PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, and Poka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing).
  • Facilitate Kaizen events specifically focused on process-related defect reduction, process capability (Cp/Cpk) and process time improvement. Provide Lean support for Global Services L1-L2-L3 KPIs and 7H/FA Outage Cost TTI
  • Partner with EHS-Q-L Transformation & Sustainment Operations team to accelerate our journey towards GEV Target Condition of “performance of the process visible at any given time”
  • Drive the “Quality Andon” culture and lead the “Quality – STOP WORK” process for Global Services, translate learnings into prioritized process improvement projects into the Lean Roadmap. Coach and mentor frontline teams and people leaders on Zero Defect principles, shifting the organizational focus from inspection-heavy workflows to process-heavy reliability.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 10 years’ experience in the Operations environment with strong business process understanding with proven track record of results using Quality and Lean methodologies OR High school diploma/GED and 20 years of experience in the Operations environment with strong business process understanding with proven track record of results using Quality & Lean methodologies.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $142,200.00 and $237,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
