Amentum is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for the Space Force Range Contract.

Typical Duties

• Receive, store, issue and account for materials used in support of data production work centers.
• Provide over-the-counter service to the data centers and assure that only authorized personnel are permitted to obtain material from the library.
• Process classified media and documents for delivery to internal and external customers.
• Store and control classified and unclassified documents and data media.
• Complete custody records and receipts of classified documents and media.
• Execute destruction procedures for classified materials.
• Degauss and destroy media no longer required/needed.
• Maintain an accurate inventory and database of all library holdings.
• Receive and distribute operational documentation to the supporting data centers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to understand and execute written and verbal communication directions. 

• Good communication skills, both oral and written to generate, produce and distribute computer reports. 

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail for accounting of classified material. 

• Ability to follow established procedures and general guidelines. 

• Ability to prioritize work to comply with operational schedules and required data item delivery timelines. 

• Ability to work independently.    

• Associate degree in business, computer sciences, office technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Two (2) or more years’ experience with detail inventory, data library functions or related field. 

• Experience with schedules and meeting delivery timelines 

• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office suite programs. 

• Ability to lift 20 lbs. without assistance and up to 77 lbs. with assistance.  

• Ability to bend and stoop and sit for prolong periods.  

• Willing to travel to multiple facilities on Vandenberg SFB. 

• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements. 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization. 

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. 

• Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement. 

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual starting salary for this position is between $28.62–$35.73 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position may be eligible for bonus or long-term incentive compensation awards.
