Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Responsibilities :
o Support, maintenance, and handling enhancements of the Cognos Controller which covers the main analysis, reporting and planning solutions of the finance and controlling area.
o Further development of the databases by adding further requirements, changes, master data, etc. including extensive testing.
o Proactive introduction of ideas for continuous system and process improvement.
o Should have strong knowledge of IBM Cognos Controller (10.X) and Excel add-ins.
o Strong Project Management experience
o Strong Cognos Controller experience is required
o Ability to priorities tasks and adhere to priorities despite conflicting requests
o The tenacity to complete tasks
o Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player
o Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes.
o Strong communication skills both verbal and written
o Ability to consult clients and train staff
o Strong Business Acumen Required


Professional Experience :
o 3-5 years of experience in developing application using IBM Cognos Controller.
o Should have good understanding of Controller development principles and practical usage in finance area.
o Good to have knowledge on Controller web, FAP (Financial Analytical Publisher) and IBM Command Center.
o Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict / resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills.
o Capable to work self-reliant and team oriented.
o Ability to support and map solutions based on the business requirements.
