Logistics is the backbone of our global operations. And you? You make sure everything runs like clockwork — from transport and planning to strategic partnerships with logistics providers.
As a Logistics Manager at Q8Oils, you lead an international team, shape our logistics strategy and turn plans into results across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. You keep a sharp eye on detail while steering the bigger picture.
Lead global logistics - you manage our global 3PL partners. From negotiating contracts to analysing spend and identifying savings. You set the direction and deliver real results.
Balance supply and demand - you oversee monthly planning and forecasting, monitor supplier performance and ensure product availability at all global locations.
Streamline shipping - you manage global container and isotainer shipping agreements and handle the administration that comes with it.
Build and empower your team - you coach and develop a motivated team, encourage ownership, and create a setting where people grow and thrive.
Support strategy and budget - you contribute to long-term planning, monitor logistics budgets, and explore smarter, more efficient ways of working.
Improve and standardise processes - you implement new procedures, align operations with other teams, and ensure compliance with changing legislation and sustainability goals.
Lead impactful projects - you coordinate warehouse setups, work closely with 3PLs, and help turn strategy into daily improvements.
Ensure compliance and safety - you ensure all activities — from safety walks to customs processes — follow Q8Oils and corporate HSSE guidelines.
You have at least 8 years of global experience in logistics, supply chain or materials management, preferably in the chemical sector
You’ve been in a managerial role for 4–6 years and know how to build and guide a team
You have strong experience with 3PL management and senior-level collaboration
You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
You are proficient in MS Office and SAP; knowledge of PowerBi is an advantage
Knowledge of APICS or holding a CPM certification is a bonus, not a requirement.
