C.H. Robinson is looking to add an Operations Coordinator to our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in executing business for our customers, building relationships with them, and partnering with internal teams to ensure their day-to-day needs are met. With a sharp focus on data integrity, quality, and efficiency, you’ll leverage our proven processes and innovative technology platform to perform operations activities and meet the transportation needs of our customers, contributing to our mission of delivering excellence in logistics and supply chain management. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Create orders and activate shipments 

  • Build and assign loads, schedule appointments, track and trace shipments 

  • Generate invoices and payments, reject and cancel orders, and update and resolve events 

  • Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests 

  • Utilize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and your experience to meticulously document events 

  • Follow through on customer or carrier requests to ensure satisfaction 

  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to CHR and customer standards 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or GED  

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Associate Operations Coordinator  

  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (select roles only) 

  • For external postings only: Minimum two years’ call center customer service or transportation/logistics experience.  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs 

  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment  

  • Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills  

  • Prior work experience that required attention to detail and accuracy
