SBMA is currently seeking an Information Developer II to join our team. This team member will work on managing data file exchange implementations with vendors, integrating with remote or cloud-based systems, and working with other departments to make repetitive and IT-related functions more efficient.

Job Purpose
We seek an Information Developer II to join our growing team of Information Developers. This position will require managing data file exchange implementations with vendors, integrating with remote or cloud-based systems, and working with other departments to make repetitive and IT-related functions more efficient. The individual will report directly to the Business Information Development Manager.
Development and Performance Expectations
The Information Developer II is expected to actively engage in development work with a broad understanding of the internal and external databases and datasets available to the team.
Exemplifying attention to detail, a high work ethic and a desire to thrive in an environment of constant learning and improvement are implicit in this position. Remote work available. Occasional team-building events are completed remotely or in person. Some travel to our San Diego, CA, home office for annual or quarterly strategy meetings or special company events may be offered on occasion.
A path towards growth and development will include mentorship by the Business Information Development Manager and team leadership. Training in specific technologies used by team members and skills developed in this role will be supported through online or remote training.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Tools and technologies relevant to this position
Database Development: 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL writing queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
Business Intelligence Development: 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence Development suite, including SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio, Report Builder, Power BI, and Power Automate.
Programming Languages: Experience with Visual Basic or C# is required.
Cloud Services: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps and AWS is desirable but not required.
Agile Methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies to manage and streamline development processes.
Integration Experience: Experienced in integrating with HealthPac, Microsoft Business Central, and Salesforce systems. Postman experience desired but not required.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Mentorship: Mentoring Information Developer I position team members on our related tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Development
Write T-SQL queries to extract data for various departments' reporting needs.
Utilize Microsoft SSRS to maintain existing reports and develop new paginated reports.
Utilize Microsoft Power BI to develop new dashboard reports and maintain existing ones.
Create and maintain Microsoft SSIS packages to extract/import data using SFTP to send and receive files.
Integrate with outside vendors and cloud-based systems using API connectivity.
Communication and Attributes
Ability to communicate verbally and via email with vendors, brokers, and clients.
Ability to build productive team relationships.
Responsible for fully supporting the team’s reporting and processes with little oversight.
Self-motivated.
Detailed.
Organized.
Works well under pressure.
Additional Duties
Ability to learn new information at a reasonable pace by taking excellent notes and asking relevant questions.
Ability to lead daily scrum stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
Maintain documentation for IS-related processes.
Compensation
$110,000 to $130,000
Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
