Job Title:

Investor Relations Associate

A day in the life

You start the day by scanning headlines and sharing perspective on newsworthy matters with the team. After collecting feedback on presentation materials for an upcoming investor conference from the head of IR, you jump on a call with corporate access with an investment bank to firm up the schedule for a non-deal roadshow.  Afterwards, you collaborate with FP&A on an industry analysis that will be presented to Executive Committee.  It is time to eat, so you jump on a Zoom “Lunch and Learn” and gain insight into the Capital Deployment group.  In response to investor emails, you answer a few modeling questions and offer a call to discuss further.  You end the day wrapping up a competitive analysis and sending out an email to senior management on our trading metrics as of the market close.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce a wide range of competitive and comparative analyses across the relevant industries.
  • Manage our internal database of financial measures, including trading multiples, consensus estimates, stock price performance, etc.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Prologis business drivers and the acumen to respond to investors and sell side analyst modeling queries, both virtually and in person.
  • Summarize key market research, company updates, and industry news in a concise manner.
  • Prepare internal presentation materials for senior management and the board, and external presentation materials for industry and investor events.
  • Drive logistics for company-hosted events such as conferences, non-deal roadshows and investor days.  Coordinate schedules with investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Maintain and update investor relations section on the company website.
