What will you do:
Supporting the purchasing process for designated components, materials and services – from sourcing and RFI/RFQ preparation and independently plans execution of Purchase Orders
Understand and facilitates Production Part Approval
Process (PPAP/FAIR) from order placement through approval,
Monitor supplier performance (COPQ in NPI phase) & Prepare project and procurement reports, including KPIs, delivery status, cost tracking.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages, delays, and technical or quality-related issues,
Proactively facilitates any changes impacting cost and delivery, inventory, and project Sourcing Strategy
Maintain regular communication with suppliers, providing forecast updates, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Support new product introduction (NPI) projects, coordinating material availability, prototypes, and engineering change implementation.
What will you need:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in commodities, economy, or engineering
2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing in manufacturing environment or Projects Management
Proven experience in procurement or project coordination within the aerospace, defense, automotive or high-tech manufacturing industry
Clear understanding of Nondisclosure Agreement Requirements and Proprietary Data
Knowledge of purchasing procedures, applications, and practices, basic understanding of global commodity sourcing strategies
Ability to work with a high level of independence
Ability to track and manage priorities based upon daily business needs
Experience of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), local Business system, MRP/ERP based programs
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills,
Good organizational skills as related to large and complex data sets
Strong and effective interpersonal skills within a team setting
Very good written and verbal English and Polish language skills
