YOUR MISSION

In the Q-Commerce/Groceries team, we believe that, by giving a WOW service to our partners, we will be able to change the on-demand delivery market. How are we doing this? By paying attention to small details. Glovo is a hyper-local marketplace featuring the most trendy places in each city and delivers their products in less than 30 mins. As a Specialties Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing the groceries business.

THE JOURNEY

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the Specialties team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s partner base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of AM and Sales Executives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Research partner and users needs and identify how our solutions address them
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts;
  • Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives;
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them;
  • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress;
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes;
  • Lead negotiations with new and existing partners

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Degree in business administration or a related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of the time
