THE WORK:

Reporting to the Security Global Legal Lead, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior Security leadership and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Legal and other Corporate Functions Key areas of responsibility for the Senior Security Counsel role include:

• Thrive on continuous advancement by leading legal support for managed security, mentoring junior team members, and briefing leadership.

• Embrace challenges as opportunities by assessing new Security products and ensuring legal compliance with risk mitigations.

• Forward-thinking and growth-driven, collaborate with regulatory counsel to synthesize advice and anticipate regulatory impacts.

• Dedicated to ongoing improvement, develop templates and guidance to streamline client-facing Legal team operations.

• Proactive in skill enhancement, contribute to thought leadership, evaluate acquisitions, and shape post-merger strategies.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 8+ years legal experience, with a preference for some experience advising on new product or service offerings.

• Experience in analyzing complex facts, using good judgement to spot risks and make risk mitigation recommendations.

• Flexible to work global hours when necessary.

• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, including security technologies and legal issues related to cybersecurity services.

• Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements client and supplier agreements (e.g. security products or services, outsourcing, technology), including understanding of intellectual property, data privacy and data protection issues;.
