Join DXC Technology's DBA Team

Are you passionate about database technologies and delivering stable, secure, and high-performing services to enterprise customers?

DXC Technology is looking for a Service Delivery Technician – DBA Operations to join our Danish Database Administration team. In this role, you will work with implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of business-critical database platforms supporting both leveraged and customer-specific environments.

You will become part of a highly skilled team responsible for a broad range of database technologies, operating in close collaboration with infrastructure, storage, backup, network, project, and service management teams.

Your Responsibilities

As a member of our DBA Operations team, you will:

  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain database platforms such as Oracle, MariaDB, Postgresql and mysql database technologies.

  • Support daily operations, service requests, incident handling, and problem resolution across database environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with infrastructure and application teams.

  • Participate in database upgrades, migrations, patching activities, and implementation of new solutions.

  • Contribute to automation initiatives and service improvements, including AI-driven operational enhancements.

  • Work closely with colleagues across Service Delivery, Projects, Storage, Network, Backup, and Customer Account teams.

  • Be a part of the 24/7 service and support rotation.

  • Secure and uphold operational excellence, security, and compliance requirements across managed services.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience working with database administration technologies and environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows Server platforms.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining database solutions in enterprise environments.

  • A solid understanding of infrastructure, system management, and service operations.

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge within a team environment.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following will be considered an advantage:

  • Oracle Database Administration

  • Postgresql

  • Mysql

  • MariaDB

  • RaptorDB (optional)

  • Database performance tuning and troubleshooting

  • Automation and scripting

  • ITIL-based service operations

  • Enterprise infrastructure environments

Security and Compliance Requirements

Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, applicants must:

  • Be based in and work from Denmark.

  • Be fluent in Danish, both written and spoken.

  • Be eligible to obtain the required Danish security clearance.

  • Have resided in Denmark for the period required to support security clearance processes.
