The role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our market-leading Commercial Litigation practice under Partners Scott Grahame and Jonathan Slater.

You will join a high performing and collaborative team, and enjoy the opportunity to work with other Partners and Lawyers across the practice. Your clients will include prominent, ASX-listed and international corporates and institutional clients.

In this role, you will act on complex commercial litigation matters in a range of areas, including investigations undertaken by Australian regulatory bodies, including ASIC and ACCC enforcement actions, commissions of enquiry and investigations, and class action disputes.  This role will see you having day to day management of matters, drafting correspondence, preparing advice, preparing evidence, liaising with counsel and assisting with the preparation of final and interlocutory proceedings. 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Between 2-4 years’ experience as a Lawyer

  • Completed a Graduate program at a leading law firm

  • Commercial litigation, contentious and regulatory experience

  • Strong academic achievements

  • Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation

  • Thrive in an environment that values independence balanced with a collaborative approach, initiative, and a strong work ethic

  • A strong focus on delivering exceptional client service

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environment
