RiverSource Life Insurance Company seeks a Director, Business Architecture, in Minneapolis, MN

Responsibilities

To develop a business architecture strategy for the domain, applying a structured approach and methodology for capturing key views of the business. Work as an effective liaison between the business and technology to effectively influence and negotiate decisions as they relate to the domain strategy. Define and maintain strategy to ensure technology solutions support business needs and strategies within cost, schedule and scope. Create and oversee the road map for capabilities within the domain. Remote work permitted 1 day per week.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience. Required skills: working in business architecture, systems analysis and design with experience driving business requirements through process mapping, modeling and information flows; experience leading proof of concepts (PoCs)/discovery using data-driven methods to validate value, de-risk approaches, and influence executive decisions; and experience with the following technologies: Pega eWorkflow, BPM, Robotic Process Automation, eForms, OpenText (content/correspondence), and Enterprise Data Lake patterns (governance, lineage, MDM, analytics enablement), experience incorporating Generative AI and Conversational AI (chatbots/voice bots) into business capabilities, including prompt/LLM patterns, retrieval, and responsible AI controls. Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary range for this role is $127,421 – $188,900/yearly. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
