Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, VPN, and secure authentication systems.

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of security tools and frameworks in alignment with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis on systems and applications.

• Develop and enforce secure configuration standards across IT assets and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Collaborate with SOC, network, and infrastructure teams to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities.

• Support incident investigations by providing deep technical analysis and root cause identification.

• Lead or support security projects such as EDR/XDR deployment, PAM solutions, or Zero Trust implementation.

• Evaluate new security technologies and recommend improvements based on threat landscape and business needs.

• Develop and maintain security documentation including architecture diagrams, procedures, and technical standards.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
   

Requirements:

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications highly preferred:

  • CISSP, OSCP, GSEC, GCIA, GCWN, CCSP, or equivalent.
     

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, etc.).

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall technologies.

• Experience with SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and threat detection platforms.

• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and integration tasks.

• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Solid understanding of secure coding, hardening, and encryption protocols.
