We are seeking a subject matter expert to lead and oversee the delivery of a high-quality, consistent and legally compliant ER service across our UK sites. You will be accountable for two ER team members ensuring organisational compliance with UK employment legislation and managing complex high-risk ER matters including Employment Tribunal and ACAS Early Conciliation cases.

This role is based at our Weybridge office, with the option to work from home up to one day per week based on business need.  Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Weybridge office a minimum of 4 days per week.

Work pattern: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week.

You will make contributions that matter by...

• Leading the ER team in the effective management of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management, redundancy and change-related activity.
• Managing investigations and formal hearings, stepping in directly for sensitive, high-risk matters.
• Coordinating preparation, documentation and case progression for ET and ACAS Early Conciliation cases.
• Partner closely with the HR Leadership Team and senior leaders to provide commercially balanced ER advice.
• Engaging with both trade unions and non-union employee groups, supporting effective consultation, issue resolution and ongoing relationships.
• Owning ER policy strategy for the UK, ensuring policies reflect current UK employment legislation and organisational needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of ER processes constantly reviewing any case trends or outcomes across the UK business.

You are best suited for the role if you have…

• Significant experience in Employee Relations, including ownership of complex and high-risk cases.
• Strong up to date knowledge of UK employment legislations and ER best practice.
• Experience managing ET and ACAS Early Conciliation cases at a senior level.
• Knowledge of policy developments and implementation.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification.
• Experience of operating in unionized and non-unionised environments – desirable.
