Job Summary
Radiology Aid will perform assigned duties to assist with patient care in Radiology

Reports to:
Diagnostic Supervisor

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
• Assist Radiology Technologist with positioning patients and assisting in assigned duties
• Completes exams in RadNet and PACS
• Assist with equipment and preparing patient films for interpretation
• Maintains inventory supplies, coordinates student/patient room assignments
• All other related assigned responsibilities

Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrolled in a Radiology Technology program

Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations
• BLS Certified

Skills and Abilities
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Organized and strong attention to detail
• Apt to understand the need for urgency
Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
This position works closely with Technologst and other Radiology staff member

Physical Capabilities
Work requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and transporting patients, equipment and/or supplies. Should be able to lift 50 pounds.

Environmental/Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside environmental changes that may include constant change in temperatures. Exposure to blood borne pathogens is a high risk
