This is an on-site, co-op internship designed to develop your skills to operate and maintain industrial systems.

As a Facilities Engineering Intern (Mechanical, Chemical, High Voltage Electrical) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Deliver solutions to operate and maintain industrial facilities
• Become familiar with system alarms, learn how to review the parameter trends to assess the health of the systems, or use disciplined analytics and problem solving to deliver best-in-class system reliability and uninterrupted factory operation

This position will require that you work in Intel’s Chandler, Arizona facility to gain the necessary experience to ramp our New Albany, Ohio facility. Once the Ohio facility is operational, it is expected that you relocate to Ohio.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Master’s in Material Science, Mechanical, Electrical (High Voltage Power Distribution) Chemical, Instrumentation and Controls, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water / Purification Engineering or related technical or STEM field
