We are looking for an innovative, analytical, and results-driven Manager, Growth to spearhead scalable growth strategies and campaigns. This role requires a versatile marketer with deep expertise in growth.

Role Overview:

As a Manager on the Growth & GTM team, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing growth initiatives for Manulife Bank working closely with cross functional teams to drive sales and revenue.

Responsibilities: 

  • Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies and initiatives (B2B and B2B2C focused) to drive efficient and scalable growth, continuously optimizing and identifying new opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and ROI.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Activation: Develop and execute Growth & GTM strategies with a strong focus on acquisition, retention, and expansion opportunities to deliver on revenue targets. Design and implement programs and experiments to test hypotheses, optimize performance, and achieve marketing efficiency goals.

  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Design and execute comprehensive ABM strategies in close collaboration with Sales leadership. Identify key accounts and implement highly personalized lead-nurture programs, balancing targeted bets in key segments and industries with a focus on priority accounts.

  • Product Positioning & Sales Enablement: Craft compelling product narratives based on advisor needs and market trends and equip sales teams with tools and insights to effectively position products.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, leadership, and internal and external partners. Provide regular updates on product marketing activities, progress, and results, and propose necessary actions to align with strategic outcomes.

  • Feedback Loop: Drive the development of a continuous feedback loop to gather insights from clients and stakeholders, proactively seeking opportunities to refine positioning and strategies.

  • Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Ensure all marketing plans comply with control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Maintain technical marketing and business knowledge to support program execution.

  • Performance Analysis: Provide insightful reporting on funnel performance at regular intervals, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement of marketing pipeline health. Monitor KPIs to measure success.

  • Experimentation & Optimization: Identify and size growth opportunities and continuously test and optimize the activation plans to drive optimal outcome.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, customer insights, and stakeholder feedback to identify growth opportunities, inform strategies, and shape requirements.

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze and report on performance, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Use advanced analytics to build growth models to assess and forecast marketing opportunities. Leverage insights to refine messaging, targeting, and execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs and behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Product Marketing or Growth Marketing. Financial services industry experience – preferrable fintech and ; familiarity with regulatory requirements. B2B experience an asset 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Growth Modeling, marketing analytics, data visualization tools; experience managing high-touch customer engagement and agency relationships. 

  • Command of SQL, data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau), and spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets).

  • Ability to manage complex performance dashboards and translate data into actionable insights.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional communication skills to convey complex information, build relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Strategic and Execution-Focused: Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring initiatives are managed end-to-end and delivered OTIF. 

  • Collaborative and Resourceful: Capable of managing external partners, agencies, and resources effectively, ensuring full alignment and timely execution across all initiatives. 

  • Drive for continuous improvement and learning, staying updated on current trends and technologies in Insurance, Banking and B2B marketing

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, driving tailored strategies.

Salary range is expected to be between

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
