As Manager, Learning Experience Designer at Boston Dynamics, you will be a strategic leader within our Customer Learning & Development team. You will develop and implement a strategic vision for learning experience that extends throughout the customer journey in alignment with our organizational goals, and be responsible for the implementation and strategic management of our Learning Management System.
You will execute on the design, development and implementation of innovative, learner centric programs and resources that drive engagement and outcomes. You will also be responsible for developing a robust reporting strategy to provide insights that inform content development and drive continuous improvement. In addition, you will establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and conduct regular reviews based on learner feedback and performance data.
You will be responsible for designing and aligning learning programs with our organization's strategic goals, integrating these experiences with our existing support portal, growing a robust, centralized enablement offering that supports a global customer base with just-in-time learning and resources.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, technical environment, is well versed managing multiple projects with many stakeholders, and delivering high quality learning products on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement a strategic vision for learning experience design that aligns with organizational objectives, staying current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve learning strategies.
Design and deliver innovative, learner-centered programs and resources that drive engagement and enablement throughout the customer lifecycle.
Establish metrics and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, using data and feedback to strategically target content for continuous improvement.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with stakeholders across Customer Success, IT, Marketing, Product and more to ensure alignment and support for learning initiatives.
Identify and implement appropriate learning technologies, including integration of the learning experience strategy with existing support products.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommended tools that support the design and delivery of innovative learning solutions at scale.
Use appropriate tools and delivery methods to produce blended learning materials promoting learning through self-study, practice, performance support, socialization and knowledge-sharing as part of certification programs.
Conduct needs analysis to design and develop bar-raising, accessible, scalable learning solutions for multiple modalities and a global audience.
Pursue a deep understanding of multiple learner roles supporting multiple operational programs to ensure learning solutions meet the needs of the business and learners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Education or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years experience in team leadership and management in learning experience design role, with a demonstrated ability to develop, support and scale strategic learning solutions at global scale.
Demonstrated experience using eLearning authoring tools to build learning experiences that include assessments, interactive activities, animated videos, graphics and images, and text-based content. (Articulate Studio/Storyline/Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite).
Experience serving as the strategic owner and administrator of a Learning Management System, standalone or as part of a broader technological ecosystem supporting customer learning experiences. Experience with Docebo LMS strongly preferred.
Ability to comprehend complex technical matters and communicate key information to a non-technical audience, including leadership and end-users, in a clear and understandable way.
Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive alignment at various levels as well as with external vendors.
Exceptional organization, project management, and communication skills to drive cross-functional projects through completion.
Proficiency with Workday HRIS and Tableau are a bonus.
